Barcelona was able to beat minnows Slavia Praha convincingly by 2-1 as the La Liga captain Lionel Messi achieved a historic feat. Messi became the first player in world football to score a goal in 15 consecutive UEFA Champions League seasons. He scored the goal in the last 3 minutes of the game. Messi also became the third player to score against 33 different clubs across Europe in the Champions League.
