In a historic feat, Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 37 runs in Mumbai to register their 100th win in IPL. Meanwhile, they also become 1st them to achieve this feat. A clinical performance from Hardik Pandya with both bat and bowl hands CSK its 4th biggest defeat in IPL and first in this season. Mumbai posted 170/5 on board, and in response, CSK could only make to 133/8 as they lose the wickets on regular intervals.
