Rafael Nadal who has recently won French Open revealed he almost ended his season after being forced to pull out of the Indian Wells semifinals with a knee injury in March. However, he was playing through the agonizing pain at Roland Garros to win a record-extending 12th title. Nadal had to give a walkover to old rival Roger Federer at Indian Wells and then missed the Miami Open before returning for the clay season.
