Naomi Osaka out of Qatar Open with back injury

World number one and two-time grand slam winner Naomi Osaka is set to miss next week’s Qatar Open with an unspecified back injury. Osaka, who was scheduled to play for the first time since her Australian Open triumph, had suffered from back problems in the past as well. Simona Halep, the Romanian who Osaka replaced as world no.1, Karolina Pliskova and Angelique Kerber will head up the field in Doha from February 11.
