Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah on Thursday became the youngest Test cricketer to make his debut in Australia. He also became the ninth youngest debutant in the history of Test Cricket. Making his debut at the age of 15-year and 279 days, the right-arm seamer broke the record of former home captain Ian Craig who made his debut as a 17-year-old against South Africa in 1953. Naseem has played just seven first-class matches.
