Paris set to host 2024 Summer Olympics after L.A. agrees to wait until 2028

Paris is set to host 2024 Olympics, while Los Angeles will hold 2028 edition after striking a deal with the International Olympic Committee. The deal would still need to be ratified by the IOC at its Sept. 13 meeting in Lima, Peru. Both cities will be staging their 3rd editions of the Games with Paris previously hosting in 1900 and 1924 while L.A staged the event in 1932 and 1984.
