Mumbai captain Prithvi Shaw led his team from the front in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Puducherry. The opener blasted a 152-ball 227* to guide his team to a 457-run total in 50 overs. Prithvi Shaw became the new owner of the record for the highest individual score in Vijay Hazare Trophy history. Sanju Samson previously owned the record, having scored 212 runs against Goa in the 2019-20 season.
