Rape-accused Swimming coach Surajit Ganguly arrested in Delhi; says Goa Police

Swimming coach Surajit Ganguly has been accused of raping a national junior gold medallist after a purported video of the incident went viral. The girl alleged that he had mentally & physically tortured her. Ganguly was employed with the Goa Swimming Association. North Goa police said that he had been arrested in Delhi. Sports minister Kiren Rijiju promised stringent action against accused after a Twitterati urged intervention.
