Real Kashmir win as football returns to Valley

Real Kashmir FC marked I-League’s return to Srinagar with a 2-1 victory over Chennai City FC. The players took a lap of honour around the turf to acknowledge the fans. It was a special day as Kashmir was under partial lockdown since the abrogation of Article 370 in August and Thursday’s match was the first major sporting event in the state in 4 months. It was also Kashmir FC’s first victory in I-League this season.
