Report: 2000 applications for Team India head coach position

BCCI has received more than 2000 applications for Team India head coach position. But, there is a lack of big names who can challenge Ravi Shastri. Tom Moody, who has vast coaching experience, has applied for the role. Former New Zealand and current Kings XI Punjab head coach Mike Hesson has also sent his application. Among the Indians, Robin Singh and Lalchand Rajput are reportedly the frontrunners for the role.
