Ritu Phogat has shifted from wrestling to Mixed Martial Arts, in a move that could spell the end of her wrestling career as she dreams of becoming India’s first MMA world champion. Ritu, who won gold in 2016 World Championship has joined the Singapore-based Evolve Fight Team. Her decision would mean that she won’t be able to compete at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. Ritu has been a fan of MMA since her growing up years.
