Sania sails into Dubai Open doubles pre-quarters

Sania Mirza and Caroline Garcia went past Russia’s Alla Kudryavtseva and Slovenia’s Katarina Srebotnik to enter the women’s doubles last 16 at the Dubai Open after a 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 win. The Sania-Garcia pair will now face Saisai Zheng of China & Barbora Krejcikova of Czech Republic. Sania returned to action in Dubai Open after recovering from a calf injury which put an end to her Australian Open campaign in January.
