Sprinter Dutee Chand became a talk of the town after she admits that she was in a same-sex relationship to become the 1st Indian sportsperson to accept such a relationship. Her family threatened to throw her out of the house. In response, Dutee came up stronger and said SC verdict has been like a breath of fresh air, and we felt empowered to come out in public. I did not want to bow down to family. I am an adult, she added.
