Sadio Mane’s Senegal and an Algeria team led by Riyad Mahrez will be looking to cement their place in Africa Cup of Nations history in the final in Cairo. Senegal, 2002 runners-up, are keen to end their long wait for a first continental silverware, while Algeria are eyeing to win the trophy they lifted as hosts 29 years ago. Incidentally, a Youcef Belaili goal gave Algeria a 1-0 win when they met in the group stage.
