South Africa Women’s WC cricketer dies in double tragedy

Former South Africa Women’s World Cup cricketer Elriesa Theunissen-Fourie and her child were killed in a car crash recently. The fatal accident occurred in the northwestern mining town of Stilfontein. All-rounder Theunissen-Fourie represented South Africa in 4 internationals - 3 ODIs and one T20 and was part of the 2013 World Cup squad. Her last match came in an ODI against Bangladesh Women in September 2013.
