Sports Ministry explains selection criteria for Khel Ratna after Bajrang Punia complains

After gold medallist wrestler Bajrang Punia expressed his displeasure over not selection of Virat Kohli and Mirabai Chanu over him for Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award and asked for a satisfactory reason, Sports Ministry has tweeted that 'point system is used to differentiate athletes within given sport, not athletes representing different sports' and Kohli and Chanu lead rankings in their respective sports.
