Star Sports set to charge INR 10 Lakhs for a 10-second ad during IPL 2020

The 13th season IPL is about to get underway from September 19th. However, the television and digital viewership is expected to be an all-time high as lockdown is still in place with a lot of companies opting for ‘work from home’. As per a report, the channel is going to charge 8-10 lakh rupees for every 10 seconds advertisement. The broadcaster is eyeing ‘record viewership’ owing to the long break caused by the pandemic.
