Former Australia captain Steve Smith hopes to be fully fit for the third Ashes Test in Headingley after being absent on the final day of the second Test at Lord's owing to a concussion. Smith had retired hurt on 80 on Saturday after he was hit on the neck by a terrifying Jofra Archer bouncer. But he passed the concussion tests and later returned to make 92. He will now be assessed before the third Test on Thursday.
