Two-year ban on rower Dattu Bhokanal lifted

Rowing Federation of India has lifted the 2-year ban imposed on Asian Games gold medallist rower and Olympian Dattu Baban Bhokanal. The suspension was effective from April 30, 2019. Bhokanal was banned for pulling out of the single sculls race midway in the 2018 Asian Games held in Indonesia. This latest decision means India’s top rower will be able to participate in the Olympic Qualification Regatta in April.
