Rafael Nadal eased past Chung Hyeon into the US Open fourth round with a dominant 6-3 6-4 6-2 win after the previous round’s walkover. The Spanish second seed next faces Marin Cilic. Meanwhile, Australian 28th seed Nick Kyrgios failed to go past the third round at Flushing Meadows for the first time as he suffered a 7-6 (7-5) 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 defeat to Russian Andrey Rublev. German world no.6 Alexander Zverev also won.
