Team India captain Virat Kohli has been named captain of the ICC ODI team of the year as well as ICC Test team of the year. Virat, who has enjoyed a highly successful year as a captain, was also awarded the Spirit of Cricket Award for his gesture for Steve Smith during World Cup 2019. He is the only cricketer apart from Stokes and Mitchell Starc who has been selected in both the teams declared by ICC.
