Wasim Jaffer appointed as batting consultant for Bangladesh

Bangladesh Cricket Board has appointed former India opener Wasim Jaffer as the batting consultant for its Mirpur academy. According to reports, 41-year-old Jaffer will be spending six months in a year with the young talents in Bangladesh. Jaffer, one of the stalwarts in domestic cricket, has played 31 Test matches for India and scored 1,944 runs with the highest score of 212. He also appeared in two ODIs.
