The match between MI and KXIP ended in a tie after 40 overs but the drama started after the Super Over too ended in a tie. That's when the new rules came into play and the match went into another Super Over. Bumrah and Shami bowled the 1st super over but both were not allowed to bowl in 2nd one as any bowler who bowled in the previous Super Over shall be ineligible to bowl in the subsequent Super Over.
