Wimbledon prize money will be a total of 38 million pounds this year with an 11.8% rise. Men’s and women’s singles champions will be awarded 2.35 million. Prize money for qualifying and rounds one to three in the singles category will rise by 10% with 45,000 pounds as the compensation for a first-round singles exit. This year tiebreaks will be employed at 12-12 in the deciding sets of every match for the first time.
