World Cup winner Daniele De Rossi retires from football

Italy legend Daniele De Rossi has announced his retirement from football, 6 months after joining Argentine giants Boca Juniors. The veteran played only 7 matches for the Buenos Aires side scoring once. He says there’s no health problem, he is returning home for family reasons. De Rossi had spent 18 years at Roma before leaving at the end of last season. He played 117 matches for Italy winning the World Cup in 2006.
