Wrestling: Bajrang Punia wins gold at Ali Aliev event

World number one Bajrang Punia on Thursday gave India the first gold at the Ali Aliev wrestling tournament as he thrashed Viktor Rassadin of Russia in the 65 kg freestyle event. Up next for Bajrang is the famous Beat The Streets ‘Grapple At the Garden’ on May 6 at the Madison Square Garden arena in New York. He will now fight against former cadet world champion and two-time NCAA champion Yianni Diakomihalis.
