Zimbabwe government suspends its cricket board, managing director

The Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC), the governing organization of all registered sporting associations Zimbabwe has suspended the Zimbabwe Cricket Board along with ZC acting managing director Givemore Makoni. The decision from the SRC comes a week after it had issued a directive to suspend ZC’s elective annual general meeting alleging complaints about the nomination process and violation of ZC’s constitution.
