Tech giant Microsoft to invest $1billion in Elon Musk-founded Open AI

Microsoft is going to invest $1 billion in San Francisco-based Open AI, a company founded by Elon Musk & Sam Altman 3 years back with an aim of doing R&D work to steer the growth of AI. Now both the companies have entered in a multi-year partnership to develop AI supercomputing technologies on Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing service. OpenAI says the Microsoft investment will help it pursue AGI.
