Bengaluru airport to introduce facial recognition for the first time in India

At Bengaluru airport, your face will be your boarding pass. For the first time in India, paperless air travel will take place. In the first quarter of 2019, the first implementation will be completed with Air Asia, Jet Airways and SpiceJet passengers. This programme will simplify air travel by making it paperless from registration to boarding as biometric technology will be used to identify the passengers.
