Apple provides customers' data to Indian govt in 63% cases

In between the time period of January and June this year, the Indian Government requested Apple to give the data for 27 devices and 18 accounts. Most of the data Indian govt was provided with was owing to an iTunes Gift Card fraud probe. The requests for information also comprised 34 financial identifiers and 3 emergency requests, Apple said. In 63% of the cases, Apple provided data to India.
