Ethiopian airlines pilot of doomed flight didn't take training on 737 Max 8 Simulator

Ethiopian airlines had 737 Max8 Simulator technology ahead of its competitors, however, the pilot of the crashed flight didn't get proper training on it. The pilot's last simulator training was in Sept/Oct, the next wasn't scheduled until March 10 when the disaster happened, as they didn't have the necessary equipment for training. It's unclear if the pilot was trained & whether it could have prevented the fatal crash.
