Facebook in a fight with fake news has tapped a BBC journalist

Spreading of fake news on social media has increased especially in India and to deal with it Facebook is taking major steps. A senior journalist of BBC, Trushar Barot on Friday declared that he will soon be taking up a role in Fb's New Delhi-based office to head and develop the Integrity Initiatives for India. He will work on abolishing fake news and digital misinformation from the platform by initiating new ideas.
