DGCA, India's aviation regulatory, has banned a few 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops sold between September 2015 and February 2017 from flights. The regulatory body claims these laptops are a fire hazard due to their batteries overheat issues. The banned MacBook Pro laptops won’t be allowed in checked-in baggage or in hand-baggage unless they have their battery replaced or they have been deemed safe by Apple.
