Tech giant Google has accepted that it allows third party apps to read data from Gmail accounts and share the information with marketers. In July Google said that developers might share data with third parties for ad-targeting but they maintain transparency. That means users must receive a pop-up for permission which didn't happen. At least 379 apps on Apple and Android store can access Google private data.
