US Department of Homeland Security has stated that it was aware of the Bloomberg report about Chinese cybersecurity threat and does not doubt Apple and Amazon's denial of Chinese spies infiltrating their companies. The department has also launched 'government-industry initiatives to develop near- and long-term solutions to manage the risk posed by the complex challenges of increasingly global supply chains'.
