India to get 100 Gbps internet soon: ISRO Cheif

With the launch of three GSAT satellites, which are high throughput satellites, before the end of next year, India will enjoy 100 Gbps internet across the country. The statement was made by Dr K Sivan, chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation while addressing a convocation ceremony yesterday. Being the world's second largest Internet user base our present broadband speed is 76th in the world, he added.
