Apple has hired Andrew Kim, who was previously working as a senior car designer at Tesla and got famous for a fan-made reimagining of Microsoft’s design language. This hiring suggests that Apple is getting into manufacturing of cars. Earlier, Apple had shown an interest in building self-driving cars and their autonomous test cars have consisted of standard cars retrofitted with self-driving hardware.
