Narendra Modi, Emmanuel Macron to get UN's “Champions of the earth” award

Indian PM Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron have been selected as the winner of UN's coveted award “Champions of the earth”. India and France have worked together in International Solar Alliance along with 119 other countries. The goal of this alliance is to harness the solar energy to reduce dependency of reserve fuels. India and France have championed in this and UN honored them with the highest award.
