Spam calls increased by 300% globally, while India stands second: Truecaller

Worldwide spam calls have increased by 300% in the last few years and in 2018 India was the second most spammed country, according to Truecaller. More than 6% of the spam calls were received by Indian users. The top 5 countries with maximum spam calls are Brazil, India, Chile, South Africa and Mexico. According to Truecaller, globally 17.7 billion spam calls happened between January to October 2018.
