UIDAI clears the air, says no SIM card will be disconnected

On Thursday, there were reports that it is possible that various SIM cards could be disconnected that were issued through Aadhaar. But now UIDAI and DoT in a joint statement have cleared the panic in the air and said that all the claims, which were stating that 50 cr mobile users will lose their connections and they may again have to go for fresh KYC process, are false. Their statement came on Thursday.
