Volvo and Uber have finally unveiled their first complete self-driving production car. The Volvo XC90 SUV base vehicle operates with Uber's self-driving tech, which means it can take to the streets by itself using Uber's ride-hailing service. The car has many backup braking and steering options, plus a backup battery, which will bring the car to a safe stop if primary systems falter while autonomous driving is on.
