Worried about climate, UN approves $1 bn for climate change projects in poor nations

Disasters happening from last few months across the world are indicating towards worsening of climate. Concerned over climatic changes a UN-backed fund has approved nearly $1 bn for new 19 climate change projects for helping developing nations, officials said on Sunday. The projects include geothermal energy in Indonesia, greener cities in Europe and the Middle East, and protection for coastal communities in India.
