First Drone Delivery of Donated Organ for Human Transplant

University of Maryland medical centre said for the 1st time a drone delivered a donated kidney which was then successfully transplanted into a patient. The drone developers said unmanned aircraft delivery could soon become the fastest, safest & least expensive method for beating the organ transport clock. The flight delivering the organ to the transplant team at the Baltimore-based hospital too just 5 mins.
