Ronjoy Dutta, the CEO of Indigo, says 'India is growing at a furious pace and the economic growth is good for the aviation sector. Airline revenues generally grow twice the rate of GDP. As long as India grows at 6-7 GFP, airline traffic will continue to grow at 14-15%. Just like India, even Indigo is impatient for growth and will grow at a rapid pace'. Dutta said Indigo would look forward to avoiding the mistakes Jet made.
