Jio Infocomm along others approached DoT for in-flight connectivity license

Mukesh Ambani's Jio Infocomm has proposed the Department of Telecommunications to allow it to have an in-flight connectivity license which will enable passengers to use data services even while traveling through domestic & international airlines. As reports suggest, the DoT has also got proposals from Ortus Communications, Station Satcom and Cloud Cast Digital. This comes after govt allowed in-flight data services.
