West Indies power hitter Chris Gayle surpasses South Africa's AB de Villiers to become leading six-hitter in World Cup history. Gayle breaks AB de Villiers record of 37 sixes during the WC clash against Pakistan by smashing two sixes to take his tally to 39 sixes in CWC. However, Chris Gayle has hit the most sixes of any player in ODI games (63) since the start of 2018. He also completed 19,000 runs in international cricket.
