In yet another clinical performance, Virat led Team India beat arch-rival Pakistan by 89 runs in the rain-shortened match. Rohit and Virat powered India to post massive 337 runs target on board. Later Indian bowlers, led by Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya, took charge and get the breakthrough on a regular interval. Rain halted the play at 35th over, and DLS came in to reduce the 2nd innings to 40 overs.
