England not only won their maiden World Cup but also bagged $4 million (Rs. 27.5 crores) - highest ever prize money awarded to the cricket champions. The total prize money for the 2019 ICC World Cup was $10million (Rs. 69.6 crore). This amount may seem a staggering one but compared to FIFA World Cup, it’s nothing. The prize money on offer last year was $400million (Rs. 2786 crore) as the winner took home $38million.
