Bhansali officially changes the name of Padmavati to Padmaavat

Deepika- Shahid- Ranveer starrer Padmavati has officially been renamed as ‘Padmaavat’, after the epic poem written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi, on which the movie is based on. The background image of the movie poster remains same as before and the movie will be released on 26th January 2018. Prashun Joshi-led CBFC has suggested a few changes including the change of name and has certified the film U/A.
