Kwame Nkrumah PC was a Ghanaian politician, political theorist, and revolutionary who lived from 21 September 1909 to 27 April 1972. He was Ghana's first Prime Minister and President, leading the country to independence from Britain in 1957. Wells is now best known for his science fiction novels, for which he has been dubbed the "Father of Science Fiction."
